SF Adventure
The weather had been unusually warm so our family decided to make a trip to San Francisco. We drove up the night before and had a sleepover at my dad's house. We had planned to go to the California Academy of Sciences, but when we got there there were a TON of people outside so we didn't even bother. So then we decide to go to Zeum (the children's discovery museum) there in the city. So we get there and guess what, they don't open until 1p! There is a neat park right near by so we played there for a while. It was getting to be lunchtime and instead of waiting around for the museum to open we took the trolley car down Market Street to Embarcadero and to Pier 39. We ate lunch there and then went and saw the sea lions. After that we saw a magic show and all of us were pulled up on-stage. The kids and I rode the carousel and let me tell you don't ride the spinning cups on an already spinning ride. Overall we had a great day even if we didn't end up doing what we planned on.

What a fun family day! There are so many things I want to do there! I'm not familiar with the museum you mentioned...I've heard of the Expoloratorium, so I'll have to look into the one you mentioned.
I love family days! What a great adventure! There are so many things I want to do in San Fran! I've never heard of the museum you mentioned, gonna have to look into that one. Very fun. Great to check in on you guys!
okay...you can delete some of my comments...I just saw the notice that you'd approve of comments before they appear...but I didn't see it and so I thought it got lost in cyberspace and left one again,,,and again! Ooops.
oh don't worry about it. i had to change my blog to approve comments because i was getting some weird yucky one's. Zeum is the SF children's discovery museum. if we ever end up going there i'll let you know how it went :). there is a park right near by but i warn you it's not a little kids park. the slides they had were really high and fast! both my kiddos are daredevils so they both loved it but for little kids i think it would be too much.
