Each year the day after Thanksgiving we head for the hills to find that perfect tree. This year was no exception. So we packed everyone (yes we all fit in the Volvo) and off we went. After hiking around for a good hour I finally found the perfect tree. Jim thought it was HUGE...and it was. After cutting it down it was about 12 feet tall. I figure you can always cut the size down when you get home, better to be safe than sorry. After we cut the tree down it was time for a nice picnic on the grass. It was a perfect day and we got to enjoy each other’s company in the warm sunshine. The tree is now standing proudly in our living room reminding us of this special Christmas season.
